My Grandfather, My Father and I
This work explores memory, photography, and family by combining vintage travel slides—taken by my grandfather and father across the USA, Canada, Israel, and Egypt—with my own studio images of tar paper fragments removed from the roof of the family garage. Together, these elements form a narrative: an attempt to reconnect with, understand, and join a shared landscape.
The project reflects on family ties and the role of photography in reconstructing personal narratives. While previous work explored speculative terrains, this project turns inward.

10 year aniversary exhibition at KH7artspace. Eight years ago I had my studio space in KH7 artspace.
The exhibition featured works by 105 artists—all in black and white and on paper. There were no names on the works; they were simply hung beautifully to fill the huge wall space. I had three works from my new series, the Landscape of My Grandfather, My Father, and Me.
It was a large community group exhibition without an exhibition catalog, so it was all about looking at works. If you wanted to figure out whose work was whose you could start by asking or starting a conversation. It is very democratic and lovely.?
