Exhibited at Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center, Lodz Fotofestiwal and Brandts
Hiroshima Mon Amour is a 16,45 meter digital montage about memory and forgetfulness. It is a narrative with a beginning and an end. The mountain range in the background is a digital construction from archival photographs taken from Hiroshima and Nagasaki shortly after the nuclear blasts. The foreground is constructed using NASA’s lunar photographs and screenshots from Alan Resnais movie Hiroshima Mon Amour.
